Sunita Thereja-Kapoor received her Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M.) from New York University, School of Law, New York, NY. She previously obtained a Bachelor of Law (LL.B) and a Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M.) from the Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India.
Ms. Thereja-Kapoor has been admitted to practice as an attorney in New York and in Punjab & Haryana Courts, Chandigarh, India. Before starting the Law Firm, Ms. Thereja-Kapoor gained extensive experience in the areas of Immigration and Business Operations while working for reputed Immigration Law Firms and the Legal Department of Corporations. In addition to this, she practiced as an advocate in Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, India under Sr. Advocate, Mr. S. C. Sibal.
Sunita Thereja-Kapoor’s interest in immigration law stems from her own experience as an immigrant from India. Ms. Thereja-Kapoor is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the New York State Bar Association.
